Week 38  This week we get the second sea chest template and bilge keel

The bits we received

And what we did with them

Same as last week.  Well, the successful parts of last weeks effort anyway.  The ply was scored with a razor saw, bent it with pliers, and then I drew round the part as before (making sure it was the right way round this time !!).  Next I applied a thin coat of glue to both the hull and ply part.  Then I clamped it in place with a few clamps, and finally ironed it down with a cool iron.  Here is the finished result.

As before, I'm leaving the bilge keels until the hull planking is completed.  Note that I've drawn round them, so I can see where they go, and will remember not to plank over that area.
