Week 5  This week frames 19, 20 & 21

The bits we received

And what we did with them

Firstly I marked the centre of each frame so I can line them up on the keel.  I've only dry fitted the frames to check the fit at the moment.  I want to remove them again so I can line up the centre lines of the aft most keel plates.  These parts were a slightly looser fit than previous issues.  However the atmosphere is very dry at the moment, so that may account for it.  It's not enough to cause any concerns.

Following assembly was carried out after part 6 was started.

Here you can see the frames and stringers glued and clamped in place.  The clamps are large plastic clothes pegs.  The weights used are simply tins of beans, etc. borrowed from the kitched cupboard.

As mentioned before, the deck is going to wait until after the hull has been planked.
